Branson has a long history of small call shops that market tourism & timeshares in the Tri-Lakes region. Many of them have grown their operation from scratch and have little technical expertise in the telecom operation and IT infrastructure side of the business. One shop we have had the pleasure of assisting with were using home-oriented calling softphones and poorly ran network cabling & switches to run their room with. This resulted in many call quality issues and lack of monitoring & recording features for the call room managers. We were able to assist this business by resolving their local network issues and moving them to a unified communications platform that allowed them the features they most desired: IVR, Hunt Groups, Call Recording, Call Monitoring & Barge/Whisper, Music on Hold, Integrated chat system and much more. The call quality issues went away and the experience for both customer and employees improved greatly, resulting in better retention. The call managers are now much better equipped to deal with training and employee call reports.
