Many of the theatres were built in the 80s & 90s and have an aging communications infrastructure. We have helped many theatres transition to VoIP. One theatre had an old telephone system that had analog lines only run to the places in the theatre that needed phones. We successfully transitioned their office & box office to VoIP and their back of house phones to VoIP. With everyone being on the same VoIP system, they were able to extension dial and monitor their usage with ease and little cost. The box office upgrade enabled them to set up a better caller & employee experience by utilizing our managed call center. The customers calling in could now be queued with cleaner music & detailed recordings and the employees wouldn’t have to interrupt current customers in line or on the phone. With dynamic call routing, they could set up a schedule and have everything automated. No longer did they need to “turn off the phones” when locking up for the night. This also helped them in the off-season when inclement weather kept everyone at home. They were able to change their call schedule for the day without having to leave the house.
